The art of seeing antiques to vintage to new as true Art

Polyvore is a wonderful example of enabling one to create art without the use of a canvas or paintbrush.

To create the art in the set below, I decided to use antique to vintage items, found on Ruby Lane.

Looking at each item on the item's listing, I could visualize it as perhaps the maker of the item did, before the item was created.

All items, be it fashion, art glass or pottery usually begins as an image in the mind, then sketched, and the final step, creating it.

Art is all around us, art is actually our environment, one just needs to look for it.

As a teenager in school, my art teacher encouraged me to continue art. I can remember a piece of art pottery I had created, that he liked so much, he asked to keep it.

Art teachers are very important to all of us.

Although my life took a different path, thanks to that teacher, I always kept my vision to see things as art.

Art, don't miss the view, it's a beautiful world, all around you.

Thank you for reading my blog, best wishes, Linda
