Fashions travel and more in Tuscany Italy


I created this Polyvore set for a contest that has the theme of Tuscany Italy.

When I think of Italy, beautiful art glass, amazing fashions, and wonderful Italian dining comes to my mind.

The fashions selected for this set are fashions one can wear comfortably and still look very chic.

I adore the Ann Demeulemeester top. Although some would wear this with leggings, I would pair it with wide leg pants like the Armani linen trousers for that laid back casual chic look.

The Juicy Couture handbag gives the outfit that young look and has lots of space inside to carry much needed things.

Italian tiles, and Italian glass is well know in the antique world as the finest.

It is still made today with fine craftsmanship.

After creating this set, I realized I really should take a trip to Italy someday, I think it would be wonderful.

I know I would shop shop shop, not only for fashions but antiques too.

So, that's on my must do list, a trip to Italy someday.

And for today, I really think I should buy that sweater that's in this set, don't you :-)

The What and Why of the Polyvore Galleries

Once someone joins Polyvore, creating sets becomes addictive.
It's almost like having your own virtual closet, or if you love to decorate, it's your virtual wish list for items for your home.
The, viewers see your sets you have created and click like. When someone likes your set, you cannot help but smile, it's a positive reaffirmation that you have created something nice.
Polyvore is my hobby.
There are fabulous contests on Polyvore too, and groups.
 The contests and groups are the key to getting people to like your sets, because that's how they find you.
I decided to create a group with the main purpose of a place for people to post their sets. After I had 50 group members, I created collections. Each time I put a member's set in a collection, the people that follow me, see it, which hopefully gets more likes for that person's sets.
Look at all of the wonderful items in this set. Each item has a link to take you to the store where you can buy the item. I think that is so cool, don't you.
Polyvore, you can play there and shop from there. Best of all, you make many friends there.
The Polyvore Galleries is my way of getting sets seen by more people, because, it's fun.

Ivanka Trump Has No Need For The Donald For Sure

Donald Trump  is a well known character in many aspects, and his wives, after the divorce, usally fade into the backround.
Ivanka Trump did not fade away, instead, she created a top notch fashion line. The shoes and necklace in this Polyvore set is by Ivanka Trump.
I love her fashions.
 You can even sign up to be on the email list so you have a first look at the newest styles and the latest sales.
I love everything in this set.
When I create a fashion set on Polyvore it is inspired by something I saw there, then I clip the item and create the set.
In this case, I saw the necklace first, and then created a fashion set...it almost feels like I went on a shopping spree.
Check out Ivanka Trump's line and I think you will agree, she has no need for the Donald indeed :-)

The Maxi Skirt Goes Casual Chic I have always enjoyed the Maxi skirt. It can be worn casual or formal. I think the best figure flattering style is the straight style as shown in this fashion set. Fabric is most important too, be sure your skirt slims you, and does not add bulk. Skirts with a side or back zipper does fit your shape and enables any top to lay flat for ease of style and movement. I always wear platforms or wedges shoes to add height...however, I love to see boots with the maxi too. Solid colors a must, unless you are slender, then, but all means, do wear those wonderful prints, especially the Paisley or Tartan plaids. The maxi skirt, the must have item in your wardrobe.
