For the joy of collecting beautiful things

Most of you that follow me will remember my little 2 day treasure hunt the other week. Once one becomes a collector of things, such as antiques, vintage, collectibles, or even new things, the treasure hunt adds to the pleasure of collecting. I found a few fabulous items while on my trip, but none that are quite as beautfiul as the items in this set. Yes, I am treasure hunting once again on Ruby Lane, and I think I found something too. I am waiting for the shop owner to answer my request. Then, my treasure will arrive at my door via the mail, and I will feel as though it's a gift. Long live " the treasure hunt " for beautiful things

Jewelry The Must Have for Fall

Collecting and wearing jewelry has always been popular.

Here's a tip you may find useful for storing your jewelry.

I have always kept most of my jewelry in the old wood silverware boxes, usually made by Reed and Barton.

The lining helps prevent tarnish.

Reed and Barton now offer jewelry boxes! So, you can be sure I will be buying some of those for my jewelry.

If the old silverware boxes protected my jewelry well, I know the new boxes offered by Reed and Barton are a sure bet to keeping my jewelry looking like newJewelry The Must Have for Fall
