I finally turned my TV off today for a while. You know why ? Because a parent has a note on their front door, that reads, " please do not ring the door bell ". They did let a reporter in, a nice lady reporter, so they could explain the note, and in the hopes we, the world, can begin, to heal, with them. Their child runs in terror, when the door bell rings, or someone knocks at the door, because the child thinks the bad man is coming after him. It was then I realized, with shock, that while my heart was breaking for everyone in that dear little town, I was also watching the news, asking the question, why, please find out why and tell us. And now, although I will keep watch of the news, I am going forward to try to make things appear as normal as possible again. It is not to turn my head away, no, instead it is for the children. They need to hear a good story, to believe in fairy tales again, and to giggle at funny things. Hugs are comforting, but, children are so curious...they hear everything, and it's a horror for us to hear, but for a child to hear, oh my...yes, I call out to all everywhere, it's time to heal
