Some of you will remember my original blog about
antiques, my videos and news about ning sites.
So, why do I have this blog, and why is it filled with
Polyvore sets.
What is Polyvore anyway.
Polyvore is my pick as best site on the net for
shopping from all sites, and for creativity.
The members of Polyvore are usually bloggers, and
people who enjoy creating.
I think some of the members found Polyvore through
fashion, Pinterest, or through crafting.
You begin with a blank page and then create a set,
just like you see on this blog.
I happened upon Polyvore through a
friend.
Shopping on Polyvore is not shopping a Polyvore store,
instead, when you view a set, the items in the set are shown on the side of the
page, click on the item and you go to where the item is in the on line store or
site.
I have been on Polyvore for a year now, and I have
over 4,000 followers on Polyvore and almost 2,000,000 hits. I also hold the
record for creating a set everyday...never missing a day.
I have actually made Polyvore my
hobby.
I love fashion, and art..and I love to write stories,
so, when you see my sets, you see me. My art and fantasy sets have a story or
inspirational verse, written by me. To read the story, click on the set which
will take you to my Polyvore page so you can read the story below the
set.
I seldom look at my FaceBook page anymore because I
have so many friends on Polyvore. We talk by posting comments on our sets, very
much the same as FaceBook, only much better.
Google+ , sure, I'm on Google + and I belong to ning
groups too.
But, I am a Polyvore regular.
If you enjoy my sets you see on this blog, you will
love Polyvore too.
In fact, most of us on Polyvore are totally addicted
to it :-)
Thank you for enjoying my blog and my
sets.
Best wishes, Linda
Hello my friend...well..I'm going to follow this..because...I WANT to understand Polyvore...I don't, I've tried and I will certainly try, and try again...thank you....
ReplyDeleteYou will love it.
ReplyDeleteI would be lost without Polyvore.
When you join, click create a set, then, click colors..then, choose biege and make the square fill that page..that's your canvas.
I am there everyday and very glad to help you any way you need.
I even formed a group to help others get their sets found.
It's a positive experience the whole way.
Polyvore and Pinterest go hand in hand...you find things on Pinterest that you like, clip them to Polyvore...or, you can go to my page, click on my archieves, then click on items..and you will find zillions of things I have saved...my items list is for everyone to enjoy and to use to create their sets.
When there's a contest, it is not really a competition, instead, contest gives you an idea as to what to create .
I'm easy to find, because I am under my name :-)
